The real problem

Your project ships. Then adoption dies.

Big IT projects stall. Azure DevOps turns into a mess. Testing slips. And after go-live, nobody uses the thing you paid millions for.

That is not a tooling problem. It is an adoption problem. BiDR works inside your project and keeps your team adopting, month after month, with short pubquiz workshops that make the new way of working stick.

Dynamics adoption that kept working

Zach Soijo delivered adoption training for 26 marketeers on Microsoft CRM and marketing in Microsoft Dynamics. To make the knowledge stick and transferable, an additional video training was built in Canvas.

That Canvas course was later used by 121 new student assistants and employees. Functional administrators saved a lot of one-on-one explanation, planning time and repeated classroom sessions.

Self-study ran smoother, and participants asked better, more specific questions than after a traditional half-day classroom session.

A cybersecurity pubquiz format built for national reach

For more than four years, Zach Soijo has been commissioned, through Dutch government channels, to build a cybersecurity and online-safety pubquiz for ECP, Platform voor de InformatieSamenleving, the organisation behind VeiligInternetten.nl and Alert Online.

ECP could then offer that pubquiz format onward to its own partner network for their own security-awareness activities, reaching organisations across Dutch banking, insurance, retail, government and cybersecurity sectors.

The format combines pubquiz energy with real cybersecurity and online-safety knowledge, a mix recognised by cybersecurity authorities as an effective, gamified way to build lasting awareness. A large-scale relaunch took place at Artis in Amsterdam. In 2022, ECP reported that the PubQuiz Alert Online had been requested 220 times. How is that for reach?

Security awareness that spread through the office

In the run-up to cybersecurity month in October, Zach Soijo delivered a workshop at NS, commissioned by the people responsible for security policy and information security. NS already ran several activities, and this workshop was well attended.

The venue at the top of the NS headquarters at Utrecht Centraal gave extra visibility and drew more people than expected. Four girls of around 12 to 14, children of employees who were at the office that day, joined in as well.

Afterwards, they kept nudging their parents to do more with information security. A clear ripple effect through the organisation. Whether that came from the pubquiz itself or from the trophies, medals and table full of sweets waiting as prizes, we honestly cannot say. Either way, it worked.

Awareness and adoption, built with lawyer-level precision

Zach Soijo has built cybersecurity and online-safety pubquizzes for many law firms, and Boskamp Willems is one of the clients he looks back on with the most pride. Lawyers expect razor-sharp, literal wording and real end-to-end answers, not generic cases.

That meant showing, very concretely, the practical difference between everyday tools, for example a built-in password manager versus a dedicated password manager, in a way that was visual, convincing and precise enough for a legal audience.

The same adoption thinking applies whether the platform is Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle or SAP: describe the use case end to end, make the smart choices explicit, and leave room to revisit and optimise. What stands out with law firms like Boskamp Willems is the retention: they come back to have a case re-explained, and every time the work becomes genuine tailor-made depth instead of a repeated script, the same precision a law firm itself depends on to win a case.

How we make it stick

Adoption, built in

01

Inside your sprints

We join your project and your stand-ups. Real delivery, not a slide deck from the sidelines.

02

Monthly pubquiz workshops

A short, fun quiz every month that turns new ways of working into habits the team keeps.

03

Adoption that lasts

From kickoff, to go-live, to full adoption in your organisation. The team runs it without us.

Preparing a workshop set together before the session starts
01 · Inside your sprints

We work inside the rhythm your team already uses

That means joining the project conversations, understanding the delivery pressure, and helping clean up the parts that slow adoption down: unclear handovers, weak testing habits, unfinished Azure DevOps routines, or training that arrives too late.

The goal is not another slide deck. The goal is a team that can ship, ask better questions, use the tooling with confidence, and keep the new way of working alive after go-live.

02 · Monthly pubquiz workshops

A recurring team moment, not a one-off session

Adoption sticks faster when people talk, answer, laugh, doubt, and recognise situations from their own work. The monthly pubquiz format turns awareness into a recurring team moment instead of a one-off classroom session.

Every round can connect to the project: secure behaviour, release habits, test discipline, Microsoft and CRM adoption, Azure DevOps routines, or the questions people are actually asking. Short sessions keep the energy high and make the message easier to remember later.

03 · Adoption that lasts

Adoption is not finished when the system goes live

People still need repetition, context, small reminders, and a place where questions can surface without turning every question into one-on-one support.

BiDR designs the adoption layer around that reality: practical training, short learning formats, reusable material, and team moments that help functional administrators spend less time repeating basics and more time answering better questions.

The intended end state is simple: the organisation no longer depends on us for daily use. The team understands the work, owns the habits, and can keep improving without a consultant in every meeting.

Zach brought the topic to life with his pubquiz. What a fun way to put it on the map. Everyone joined in and we learned a lot. We still discuss cases from the quiz today.

About us

We are BiDR

We work inside IT delivery: Azure DevOps, testing, automation, training, coaching and security awareness.

We do not follow the go-live date and disappear. We stay until your team runs the new way of working without us.

Our adoption approach works because we combine IT delivery expertise with marketing and behaviour expertise, and that mix is why the pubquiz format actually changes how teams work.

Read the story behind BiDR

Zach Soijo has worked in IT for more than 25 years, starting on a support desk in 2001, back when he had to explain the internet itself to callers. From there he grew through functional application management, technical management and web development, watching internet and broadband adoption happen from the ground up.

His curiosity for how systems work started even earlier, taking apart and rebuilding home computers and programming music on early MS-DOS software. That hands-on curiosity turned into a lasting interest in IT projects, and from 2002 onward he saw IT's impact accelerate fast, especially once the first iPhone arrived.

What did not keep up was people. Waterfall gave way to Scrum, one technology replaced the next, and even end users struggled to keep track of what they were using and why. There was more to pay attention to, and less reason to stay engaged.

As a functional application manager, back when job openings still had to be faxed to head office to go on the internet, Zach built a small pub quiz to explain the basics of working online, inspired by a colleague who ran themed quiz nights on news, music and sport. It worked. People who were normally guarded around "technical" topics responded with real enthusiasm once the content was broken into short, fun, sharply written pieces.

That is the gamified micro-learning BiDR still runs today. Because Zach's background spans both IT delivery and marketing, landing the message is treated as part of the work, not an afterthought: keep it engaging even inside a serious agile project with a hundred sprints, and run a short, interactive check-in on a regular rhythm. Attention turns into engagement, teams leave with a genuine sense of ownership, and that carries all the way through to the end users who have to adopt the result. Better quality, more engagement, longer retention. That full circle is the mission behind BiDR.

As strategic advisor, Jonas is responsible for reading the markets BiDR operates in. He looks at which markets fit best with current trends, which stakeholders matter most to us, and where we can make a genuine societal contribution.

He balances that with the commercial goals our stakeholders depend on, so the direction we choose is both meaningful and sustainable.

As COO, Martin keeps BiDR's daily operations running. He manages the people who work with us, hiring, freelancers and temporary staff, so every project stays properly staffed and on track.

His background is IT delivery and test management for organisations including Rijkswaterstaat, the IND and Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, with a strong focus on information security and identity access management. Like Zach, he combines that technical grounding with real marketing experience, and brings the same pragmatic, connecting mindset to keeping BiDR's team and projects running smoothly.

As CMO, Nam Hing Chau sets BiDR's long-term marketing direction. He shapes the strategy behind what we offer and how we position it, based on what our clients are actually asking for, and leaves day-to-day execution to the team.

With over a decade of B2B marketing experience across companies like Yousign and his own ventures, he brings a full-stack view of growth, from positioning to partnerships. He is increasingly focused on platforms that want to push adoption products onward to their own partner networks, the same model behind BiDR's work with ECP.
