Privacy Policy

This is the general privacy policy for the BiDR BV website. App-specific privacy details are added per app when an app is released.

Who is responsible

BiDR BV is responsible for the processing of personal data described in this policy. CoC 67444830, VAT NL856994893B01, Walter Pompelaantje 12, 5397 EZ, Lith, Noord-Brabant (NB), The Netherlands. For privacy questions and requests, email privacy@bidrbv.com.

What data we process

Depending on how you contact or work with BiDR, we may process:

  • name and organisation;
  • email address and phone number;
  • the content of your message, contact form submission or support request;
  • invoice and contract details for assignments;
  • technical data needed to run this website safely, such as server logs with IP addresses kept by our hosting provider.

How we collect data

We collect data when you fill in the contact form on this website, email us, ask for support, or work with us on an assignment. Our hosting provider creates standard technical logs to run and protect the website.

Why we use data

  • answering contact and support requests;
  • delivering assignments, training, consultancy and awareness services;
  • security, abuse prevention and improvement of the website;
  • administration and legal obligations, such as tax rules;
  • app support, once BiDR apps are released.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use analytics, advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google servers when the page loads. The contact form contains technical anti-spam measures that do not track you across websites.

Third parties

We use a limited set of suppliers to run our services: website and email hosting (Hostinger), and administrative tooling for invoicing and accounting where needed. These suppliers process data only to deliver their service. We do not sell personal data. If a future app uses additional software components or third parties, that app's own privacy addition will name them.

Security

We protect personal data with appropriate measures: the website is served over HTTPS, mailboxes are password-protected, form input is validated and access to data is limited to the people who need it for their work.

How long we keep data

We keep personal data no longer than needed for the purpose it was collected for. Contact and support messages are removed when the conversation is closed and no follow-up is expected. Contract and invoice data is kept for the legal retention period (in the Netherlands, seven years for administration). You can always ask us to delete your data earlier where the law allows it.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correction, deletion and portability of your personal data, the right to object to processing, and the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Email privacy@bidrbv.com and we will respond within the legal time limits. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Apps and account deletion

This is the general website policy. Each BiDR app that reaches the App Store or Google Play gets its own privacy addition under /apps/[app-name]/privacy/ that describes exactly which app data is collected, which software components and third parties are used, whether tracking takes place, how consent can be withdrawn, and how account and data deletion works for that app. We will not release an app without those answers.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The date below shows the latest version.
